Adding the speech functionality to the RTS web portal was the occasion for our guest appearance in the TV show MAGAZIN OKO on RTS1 on Friday, June 10th 2011, named "When the Internet speaks out". The show can be (re)watched at www.rts.rs on the page “Emisije/Oko/Kad internet progovori”.

Within the show human-machine telephone conversation was demonstrated, realized through two-way speech communication based on automatic speech recognition and synthesis. You can test the demo application used in the TV demonstration on our website as well on the project website www.alfanum.ftn.uns.ac.rs (page Demo). You may also wish to compare the quality of the synthesised speech used in the demonstration with the official Google synthesiser at the site translate.google.com (option "Izgovor").
