„AlfaNum Event 2011” held on March 25th, 2011.
It is our pleasure to inform you that on March 25th, 2011 in Sava Centre in Novi Beograd, the AlfaNum company has held a conference under the name of „AlfaNum Event 2011”. The aim of the conference was to present speech technologies for Serbian and kindred South Slavic languages, as well as the applications of these technologies developed by AlfaNum. The basics of speech technologies were presented by Vlado Delić, PhD, professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, where these technologies were originally developed and. Afterwards, the AlfaNum company manager, Darko Pekar, and the AlfaNum sales manager, Marko Ćorić, presented the applications based on these technologies widely used in the modern business environment in Serbia and abroad.
The conference was attended by 62 representatives of public institutions and representatives from ICT sector, mostly from Belgrade, but also from different parts of Serbia as well as from Bosnia and Herzegovina. „AlfaNum Event 2011” was held in a good atmosphere with the active involvement of participants with many questions and concrete suggestions about the potential applications of speech technologies in different business areas.
