Professor Hiroya Fujisaki has delivered the lecture "Physiology, Physics and Mathematics of the Process of Fundamental Frequency Contour Generation".

Hiroya Fujisaki, Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo and one of the most renowned world experts in speech technology, has delivered the lecture "Physiology, Physics and Mathematics of the Process of Fundamental Frequency Contour Generation" on September 30th 2016 in the amphitheatre of the UNS Rectorate. After his lecture he visited AlfaNum and had an instructive conversation with AlfaNum’s research team regarding the ongoing challenges in the development of speech technology. As an expert in linguistics and natural language processing, particularly the modelling of cognitive processes related to speech, he shared some of his rich experience with us.
