Approved financing of EUREKA DANSPLAT project - A Platform for the Applications of Speech Technologies on Smartphones for the Languages of the Danube Region.

The project is carried by Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, SERBIA, with their partners Institute of Informatics, Slovak Academy of Sciences, SLOVAKIA; AlfaNum Ltd, SERBIA; SpeechTex Ltd, HUNGARY; BME-TMIT, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, HUNGARY; HSM-Informatika Ltd, CROATIA.

The aim of the DANSPLAT project is to expand the use of speech technologies in the Danube region, with emphasis on automatic speech recognition and text to speech conversion, with the aid from alternative augmentative communication. Project is focused on mobile phones as the largest platform for applied speech technologies in multi-modal man to machine communication.
